Echoes of the Hearth

This barnwood piece of 12″x 4″ explores the contrast of new versus old and the importance of preserving the “old” things.  Using pieces of old barnwood shows how resilient the barns and their owners were, and that aged materials deserve dignity and another use so the history can be appreciated.
